Dude, it happens all the time. It ruins the youtube experience. A black person appear in a vid... the n word appears multiple times, a gay person, the f word and so on and so forth. I have gotten messages from other users calling me the n word and f word, these are in fact the only times I have been called those names. And trust me, black people are involved in it too, i have been called oreo because I expressed my dislike of rap and I expressed I was black. You can only give them thumbs down which removes the question from your view. But youtube practices freedom of speech and you cant report them fully.Racial slurs and hate rants on youtube?

Youtube comments are just full of rants. It is becoming a 'classic' part of modern day life... 'the Youtube comment argument'. About a year ago, two fellas comments went on and on and go so heated that they arranged a time and place in England to meet up and beat the daylights out of each other.
Stay off the comments on YouTube. They can be nasty. They can cut deeper than a knife, and you will mentally remember the scar.
you can report their comment as spam. i think that's about all you can do. i've had the same thing happen to me, and i don't know how to solve the problem either. if its a hateful video i flag it. if its a hateful message i mark it as spam. also go to their profile and hit block user.

Well, I think this person is just a bitter person. I can't stand for someone to critizise everyone for asking a question. When people ask questions, they just want answers, not rude remarks, and that goes for everyone.
Seems to know enough that ignorance should not breed. I think the rudeness comes from the fact no one listens and they continue to add to the unnecessary deathrate of animals. The ignorance on here breeding is out of control. Getem calls it like she sees it. Many of these questions are time consuming and it would be easier to call a vets office. Everyone thinks ';ahh lets have some babies'; Get a momma from the shelter and save hers. I have litters all the time. Momma dogs die in shelters. Easier and cheaper to kill them all with one needle before she gives birth.

I too was angered at first when I got a poor response. However, there is so much knowledge there. The frustration is apparent and at times (most times) just. When I pointed out my desire was to learn and I truly love the animal the attitude changed. GetEmGang could and Is willing to help whomever REALLY wants it. Of all the people (there are about 3 here) I would trust with a decision concerning my dogs . You have to look past the shouting and read the content. I don't always agree with the answer but, seriously take it into account. If you are a girly girl looking for an answer on how to get Fluffy pregnant...DONT ask GitEmGang!!!!!!!However if you need to know about the animal and whats best for it, Ask away...

I don't know about the ';ranting'; part. But I do enjoy an honest question. Curiosity and studiousness and a humble seeking for answers are part of human life regardless of how one responds to questions of justice and mercy. What bothers more than rants and more than ';Why do Christian's believe that ....'; (followed by something that Christians don't believe), are the large number of sophomoric questions and answers from all sides of the spectrum. People PLEASE, the amount that humans know and understand about BOTH God and the physical world are vastly outweighed by what we DON'T know. All people would be well served by approaching any question or point with humility and curiosity.
BTW: My current pet-peeve in this regard are the statements that refer to the theory of gravity as a well known fact. Newton described and provided an equation that presented the LAW of gravity, but I have not seen a good working theory explaining how it works let alone one that gives any confidence that the explanation is a ';fact.'; If there is one, does it reliably answer -- or better yet explain -- whether gravity ';works'; faster than the speed of light?

I am amused that they think they know better. What amuses me more are the people who say that I am foolish for believing and then lists apparent flaws in my beliefs that have been answered and dealt with for hundreds of years.

When an atheist rants against my beliefs I normally tell them this.
If you are right and I am wrong, I lose nothing, but if I am right and you are wrong then you lose everything.
The intelligent question here is who stands to lose what, I am a believer
yet even in my death I do not lose, I can only gain. If you are a non-believer and are wrong you spend an eternity in hell.
The only person that is happy for the non-believer is Satan.
Let them rant, as that's what they are good it.

I don't know about the ';ranting'; part. But I do enjoy an honest question. Curiosity and studiousness and a humble seeking for answers are part of human life regardless of how one responds to questions of justice and mercy. I ENJOY some of the give and take from those who actually think scientifically (as opposed to those who parrot the last thing they heard regarding ';some scientists say...';).
What bothers more than rants and more than ';Why do Christian's believe that ....'; (followed by something that Christians don't believe), are the large number of sophomoric questions and answers from all sides of the spectrum. People PLEASE, the amount that humans know and understand about BOTH God and the physical world are vastly outweighed by what we DON'T know. All people would be well served by approaching any question or point with humility and curiosity.
BTW: My current pet-peeve in this regard are the statements that refer to the theory of gravity as a well known fact. Newton described and provided an equation that presented the LAW of gravity, but I have not seen a good working theory explaining how it works let alone one that gives any confidence that the explanation is a ';fact.'; If there is one, does it reliably answer -- or better yet explain -- whether gravity ';works'; faster than the speed of light?

Percocet has oyxcotin in it, the stuff Limbaugh was hooked on, I take like 40mg a day, I read Rush was doing 250mg a day, INCREDIBLE. My point being a lot of people take this stuff, when i first started I noticed at times I would be more emotional in some situations, not really inappropriatly emotional, but I would shed tears in a situation I normally would not. When I saw that it reminded be of whe Boehner broke down in the congress, I sure can not prove it, but that is what I would guess, watch that crap, the words actually made a little sense, the reation was way out of proportion!

situation occurs. It's irrational, repetitive and is an attempt to control the other person, and it's embarrassing. He says there is only ';one'; situation. He says it's ocd but not a problem for him. I see it's a problem for me and for the public. I sense that if there is one problem or embarrassing situation there may be more hidden ones. He says it's not bad enough to get fixed. He says his controlling should be listened to and that if not then it's considered disrespect. A person with OCD does not need to rant about they rituals. They just do it, regardless of whether you like it or not. There would typically be more of a frustration, sadness, embarrassment, and/or anger when asked to supress rituals.
Also, if it is OCD, it is serious, and it should be treated.
Attempts to control others is not uncommon with people with OCD (ex. they may try to force others to touch a door knob repeatedly), however, the WORST thing you can do is enable these sorts of irrational behaviors.
I would suggest you talk to your friend about his behavior, if he continues, you may need to distance yourself from him until he gets help.

I don't see how his symptoms fit OCD but I'm not a doctor. No illness is an excuse to be rude. He should see a psychologist and talk about it and perhaps take medication. Prozac is a drug of choice for OCD.
He just feels a need to be in control. Let him sometimes, but if it's a big deal, he may not realize what he's doing.

Attempts to control others is not uncommon with people with OCD (ex. they may try to force others to touch a door knob repeatedly), however, the WORST thing you can do is enable these sorts of irrational behaviors.
I would suggest you talk to your friend about his behavior, if he continues, you may need to distance yourself from him until he gets help.

I don't see how his symptoms fit OCD but I'm not a doctor. No illness is an excuse to be rude. He should see a psychologist and talk about it and perhaps take medication. Prozac is a drug of choice for OCD.

I had a fromer co-worker like that. I finally just pretned tp fall asleep at my desk everytime she came my way. After that, I told her that she makes my ears bleed. The incessant blabbing stopped after that. Also, if she ever started on a rant, I would tell her that my ears were starting to hemorrage.
You don't tell them you could care less because when someone is ranting you're either with them or against them. It's best if you just smile and nod till they're finished. Since you risk incurring their ire if you don't pretend to be moderately interested.

You can just express your opinion in some neutral form, like ';I think we need some perspective here, that problem to me is really not a huge deal';. But I don't know, people who want to unload their negativity are not really in a dialog. It's better to just find new friends or something.

I know people who grew up with smoker parents--they're not dead and they don't have lung cancer or emphysema. You can't compare those two.
