Why are Jehovah's witness's always ranting about the end of the world ?

Isn't the idea too evolve too move forward not backwards

too create new life and a better world for our children

This makes no sense too me and there not the only ones

many religion's say this. they came too my door and told me this ?Why are Jehovah's witness's always ranting about the end of the world ?
We care for people. We love our neighbors.

So we want to warn everyone. We want to give them enough information from the Bible to act in a sensible manner and make necessary changes that are pleasing to Jehovah God.

We don't rant. We just let you know. What you do with the information is you responsibility. We know it has been good for us and will benefit you and your family also.Why are Jehovah's witness's always ranting about the end of the world ?
We are not all about gloom and doom. We look forward to wickedness being removed completely from the earth and paradise restored. Of course we want a better place for our children, which is why we trust in the Bible. Mankind has nothing to offer, we cannot solve the earth's problems on our own. We take comfort in looking towards better times, we know that at that time everyone will be healthy and happy and remain that way. No more death, sickness, pain, sorrow, wickedness, etc. This is not something that we have made up, it is in the Bible for everyone to read. In order for the earth to be restored to these conditions there are events that must take place first. These events are what we warn people about. We do not want to keep this information to ourselves, we want to give everyone a choice because every life is worth something to God.
Because it's good for business.

Every sales organization has a product. The Watchtower/JW organization's product is the end of the world.

From Watchtower founder C.T. Russell's predictions about 1914, to his successor J.F. Rutherford's ';Millions Now Living Will Never Die'; predictions about 1925, to later Watchtower predictions that the end would come before the ';1914 generation'; died off...every Watchtower prediction has had one thing in common. They were all WRONG!

Christ didn't return in 1914 (of course, Russell concoted a cover story that it was all invisible).

The ';Millions Now Living'; in the early 1920s are...dead!

And the ';1914 generation'; is also dead!

And, surprisingly after all these failures, to a small percentage of very gullible people, the Watchtower organization still has some credibility. It's amazing...but as P.T. Barnum said ';there's a sucker born every minute.';
Actually, I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and we don't believe in ';the end of the world';. We do believe that God will reestablish His governmental rule, and restore the planet to how He originally intended.

As with all/most people, we of course want a better world for our children.
I believe that they believe that they are in a race, and are looking forward to the end of that race. For them there awaits a big prize of everlasting life on a paradise earth. All the time in the world to do whatever they want.

They are trying to hurry it along, in a nutshell!
Evolve? Anyway we are sounding a warning that soon God's day of wrath will be on us and only those who obey God will survive. Jehovah tells his followers to do this. Just as Noah tried to warn the people then, we try to warn them now. If we warn you and you ignore us and you die during Armageddon, we are not responsible but if we fail to warn people your blood is on us. Most people do not listen but we still have to try. We want to help everyone that will allow us. If you knew of a huge storm that was coming right for your neighborhood and nobody knew but you, would you not try to tell them? Even if you do not believe Armageddon is coming soon, it would be to your advantage to listen to what we have to say. It only takes a little of your time and may save your life. It is for you to decide.
You ought to LOVE the idea that pretty soon all wickedness will be gone forever- or do you imagine yourself living %26amp; loving wickedness?

Come to think of it- lets see who else according to you were person's who '; ranted';

The apostle Peter said that we need to ‘repent and turn around so as to get our sins blotted out.’—Acts 3:19. ( Was that Ranting?';)

How about Jesus?

The resurrected Jesus Christ said : “I hold this against you, that you have left the love you had at first. Therefore remember from what you have fallen, and repent and do the former deeds.” (Revelation 2:4, 5

Choose your words carefully my Child.
They have given certain dates over the years of when the world will end none of which has ever happened! Jesus Christ said himself that if you do this then you are a false prophet! Jesus himself also said that even He didn't know when the end of the earth would be only God did! This proves that the Jehovah's Witness is a cult!
we never have ranted about the end of the world

some witnesses did think 1914 was, but not all of them did, the watchtower never said it defiantly was, some people just like to jump to conclusions.
Every religion has their rant,the whys mean nothing.
They are all about gloom and doom.

You have a more realistic goal.

Just ignore them.
because they want to and can and actually believe it.
They've been predicting doomsday since the 1800's. I would have thought they would have given up by now.
