Global Warming is not a lie...it exists and may go on. The question that can be raised is if it really happens due to human influences or not.





During two decades before the1970's there was fear of global cooling and people talked about a new ice age which could not be prevented (many thought). When from the early 1970's temperatures started to rise this thought died out.





We humans have a tendency to look at the present (a rising temperature) and translate it into the future as a continuous thing. Looking back, history shows that there have been many fluctuations in global temperatures, before humans were there and also in recent centuries. Also CO2 in the atmosphere has fluctuated a lot over the ages.





Therefore, I have no doubt that global warming has been measured and exists, but I can't be sure that it was caused by human influences. What ';proofs that you read'; do you refer to?





There are quite divergent temperature records. That goes to warming. There is no actual proof of human causation of any of that warming.





There have been: exaggeration, hyperbole, historical revision, outright lies, and complete guesses communicated as if they were hard facts, all to further the acceptance of the man-made global warming theory. These have been repeated countless times, and they have been funded in many cases by governments, which will receive the revenue from the new taxes the justification for which is man-made global warming. Show me proof that


1) Earth is getting warmer at a rate we should be worried about. (we all know the last ice age has to finish sometime - prior to that Antarctica was green)


2)This would be a bad thing. In my view, colder would be a hell of a lot worse.


3) That it is caused by humanity. If burning things would warm the planet why didn't it happen during the industrial revolution?





Then explain why it is getting COLDER, not HOTTER!





Then we can talk about your ';conspiracy'; theories. I have one of my own - Don't call it conspiracy if spupidity can explain the data!


IPCC, Politicians, lobbyists, public servants and bureaucrats - do I need to draw you a picture of the idiocy that will result if you ask these fools to predict the weather? Tomorrow's would be bad enough, but a Century out? Give me a break!
What proof? There is no proof if you can not understand it and come to the same conclusion on your own. I have not seen any proof. The only thing out there is brief summaries on studies with little detail about how they were conducted.

Is average global temperature important?


All living things have a minimum and maximum temperature they can tolerate. They are not aware of averageTemperaturee. It is an abstract contrivance. How anyone can access the climate with one simple statistic, average temperature? That's it, the whole complexity iof the earth's climate distilled down to one number.











Is the earth warming?





The only choices are getting colder, getting warmer or stay the same.





This is based on analysis of temperature records. Have you seen the data. Do you understand how it isanalyzedd? Is the time span of temperature records long enough to establish a trend of a planet that has been here 4 billion years? How has the temperature monitoring equipment and procedures changed over the last 200 years that might effect comparing one era to another. How accurate is the record keeping of temperaturemonitoringg stations? Is ther anyauditingg of temperature monitoring stations? Are there enough temperature monitoring stations to see the whole climate picture? Are the monitoring stations in the right places?





Is the warming significant?


If you can't see it for yourself, then the answer is no.





Is it a bad thing?


You find more biodiversity where it is warmer.





Is it caused by Carbon Dioxide?


If Co2 is a greenhouse and is raising the earths temperature by retaining more heat, why do we have years with significant drops in global temoerature, with no significant change in Co2 in the atmosphere.?


All fossil fuels are come from organic sources. The less carbon dioxide in the air, the less life that is possible.





Is it caused by the activity of humans?


Historically there is more human activity proportionally to rising temperatures. Human propser in warmer weather.

The same basic set of people were ranting about global cooling in the 1970's and warming in the 1990's until now. Temperatures have been steady or declining since 1998, and instead of a call to reconsider their opinions the call for ';action'; (that involves taxes and regulation etc.) has gotten even more shrill and desperate.

Piers Corbyn is a British Scientist who has for 25 years predicted MAJOR weather events up to a year in advance using the true source of weather, THE SUN.





Solar cycles dictated that we were in a hotter period with many sun spots making other planets in the solar system hotter not just earth. 2008 the solar cycle ended and the sun spots disappeared were late reappearing and are few and far between and the current solar cycle will be a cooling period till 2030.





This is the truth and the Global Warmers know it and it is why they are changing the name to Climate Change since guess what climate is changing just like it has though out history. Geologist are a major part of the scientist who know Global Warming is just part of the earth cycle which has now entered a cooling down.

It's not a conspiracy. It's just a difference of opinion. But we are giving AGWers the benefit of a doubt here. The way I see it, anybody who believes that it is of benefit to humans to press forward with an agenda of taxation and control over energy sources is either deluded/ stupid or calculating/conspiratorial. I don't believe global warming is a conspiracy but I still don't believe in it.





I believe it is a natural cycle in which the earth heats up and cools down. Here is my proof. Millions of years ago the dinosaurs lived in a climate much hotter then the one we are in now, water covered much more of the earth. Then came the ice age. The climate rapidly cooled creating a much cooler climate. Then the ice age came to an end when the earth began to heat again and we are living in this time of reheating.





This stuff about how methane gas and other natural gasses are destroying our ozone now more than ever is bullshit. Before people were around there were many more animals, volcanoes, swamps, tar pits all shooting gasses into the air. To say that what we are doing is destroying the earth is stupid.





But trees. We do need trees. Thats the only thing global warming supporters got right.

No, conspiracy is one of the most difficult things to prove. As for GW, the cap and trade scheme is obvious and has been link to China's over allocation of funds to build preplanned hydroelectric facilities.
