Why are the GOPers ranting about the moveon.org ad about General Petraeus?

Every thing that they predicted would be in the Petraeus Report turned out to be 100% true. Why are the GOPers ranting about the moveon.org ad about General Petraeus?
General Petraeus gave an honest account of what is taking place and the progress we are making. The NY Times let Moveon.org place an insulting piece in their paper regarding General Petraeua and they charged only a small portion of the amount it costs to take out an advertisement. They bashed a Four Star General and treated this hero in such a disrespectful manner. It is disgusting and just another example of the press being one sided and supporting the Democrats no matter what the cost. Why are the GOPers ranting about the moveon.org ad about General Petraeus?
Let us say that everything the idiots from the left said was true (which it was not) they should not have had such loathsome things to say about one of America's top, decorated generals. This to me is carrying the game of politics too far and I wouldn't vote for a democrat if he/she were the only name on the ballot.....and I am a democrat!
I loved what Freedom Watch said. That is was shameful to question a person patriotism or to call someone names. Pot meet Kettle, Kettle meet Pot.

nwjerserygirl -- Have you ever heard of a swiftboat captains for ';truth';.
Greetings. what else can they do but complain that moveon.org called him Betray Us? they all knew exactly what he was going to say in his own personally composed report long before it was supposed to be presented to congress. unless they are all psysic then it would be logical to think that they knew before it was presented what was in it because they wrote it and not the Betray Us as they claimed. note when people lie about something they usually try to place blame on anyone who notices the lie. Complain about moveon.org instead of presenting proof that it was wrong.
because you can not say anything against the grain without some kind of backlash no matter how politicaly correct...

or incorrect..
Maybe because a general, who serves under direct orders from the President, has done his job to the best of his ability, and created positive change in Iraq, is called a traitor by a bunch of looney Americans.

Gee, who could take offense at that?

Don't you find it strange, that the NY Times, a supposedly objective newspaper, gives Moveon.org a 1/2 price for that piece of trash ad?
Because petraeus attacks were unwarranted....

This was not political free speech.
It keeps them from addressing issues. The same way they use Clinton's indiscretion. I had a person block me because I suggested he get over it. They need to ';move on';.
Bush joined the wingnuts today by ripping into the Moveon.Org ad. I really think attacking a small fringe organization is below the dignity of his office.

I wonder if he's so stupid and attacks them on TV during his speech tonight. I guess he needs to throw the rightwingers some red meat to soften the blow that he's begun a ';cut and run'; retreat from Iraq. In the end, he'll just be doubling Moveon's membership.
