Repeal the huge spending bills they just passed, reduce the size of government by 5%, cut capital gains taxes, lower the corporate income tax rate, abolish all out-dated laws, get rid of the Department of Education (kids do no better on international tests than before), overhaul the IRS code, overhaul the Treasury Department, break up AIG like was done with AT%26amp;T and sell off the parts that the USA owns, balance the budget, enact legislation so that voters have the right to approve or not approve raises for Congress, allow drilling for oil on US soil, allow construction of nuclear facilities to generate electricity for starters.If you're one of the people on here ranting about how terrible of a job Obama is doing so far..?
I would not be spending trillions in borrowed funds and looking for backdoor taxes like Cap and Trade.


I would be looking to reform medical and insurance costs, but not looking for government funded health care which is only sure to drive tax levels even higher and the level of care down.


I would be looking to reform social security as the current system is destined for failure which a simple tax increase will not fix.


I would be looking to reduce dependence on foreign oil by increasing domestic drilling. I would be looking for tax incentives for technology innovation. I would not be looking to fund every environmental agenda at the cost of doubling energy prices.





There are four things I would be doing. How about you?





Lastly stating facts or expressing discontentment with policy is not ranting. I find that people who complain about ranting are the same ones who state that everyone should be quiet and agree with whatever Obama wants to do. That is not democracy in action, it is silent tyranny.
The government has not done a single thing that could be called stimulating to this economy...giving Congress people a $97,000 raise didn't stimulate anyone but the Congress...if Obama wants to stimulate this economy he should take one of those trillions and either give every household a $15,000 check or forgive all federal and state taxes for 2 years...we the people can do a much better job of stimulating this economy than any government could ever do and this would also do away with much of the mortgage crisis if people had $15,000 to pay towards their mortgage but since the government doesn't think we're smart enough to get one foot to go in front of the other this will never happen.
Stop the wasteful spending. I don't have a problem with the spending on new roads, schools, bridges. I don't really have a problem with the spending to rebuild the power grid. But the 90% of the rest that was just pork is a joke we can not afford.





Next, we need to create an environment that helps create jobs, not punishes those who do create jobs.





Ban the unions, or at least those that have gotten out of hand, just look at the UAW.
1. Implement a flat tax rate.


2. Stop all money being sent to other countries, period, until we get our mess and debt straightened out then we can help others.


3. Stop pay raises for congress (they dont deserve a raise right now).


4. Eliminate lobbyists.


5. Heavliy tax corporations that continually ship jobs overseas and provide incentives to those companies who keep Americans working.


6. Drill for oil here until we can build a different infrastructure with an alternative for our vehicles. (eliminating oil company lobbyists will help here).


7. We need a better watchdog group too for people that abuse the government aid (welfare, social security/disability etc.) There are to many people taking advantage of the system when they are perfectly capable of getting a job.
Simple, I would include some major cost cutting measures in the budget, leaving full funding for only defense, security and infrastructure. There would be no pork or earmarks. This government would lead by example and live within its means for a change, and would encourage the US citizens to do the same. I would also move to round up as many illegal aliens as possible and build a impenetrable wall on both northern and southern borders complete with an adequate amount of border patrol agents. I would push for nuclear energy alternatives to wean us from dependence on foreign oil and if we were to use oil, we would drill our own. As far as foreign policy, I would adopt Ronald Reagan's policy of ';peace through strength';. It really wouldn't be too difficult if there weren't so many liberals from both parties waging war against common sense.

I would be directing FDIC and Treasury to absorb the weaker banks, write down the holdings that we KNOW are junk, then prepare to sell them back out to the public once they are capable of staying afloat.





I would also put pressure on congress to stop mandating Fannie and Freddie support loans to those who cannot afford them (i.e., securitizing mortages from banks who make ridiculous loans), such as to the ';disadvantaged';.





That's just a start.
I would deport ALL illegal immigrants and foreign guest workers. Wages would go up. Everyone that wanted a job would have a job. Americans would prosper and their wages would be spent in our economy instead of the billions that illegal immigrants and foreign guest workers ship out. All social services would see an immense drop in those using the social services. Schools would improve. Hospitals would not be going bankrupt. Crime would go way down, which costs us a fortune.





Cut taxes. Make all trade FAIR trade with tit for tat tarriffs.
Fire a lot of excess government people, starting with the IRS. To effectively reduce taxes, we need to reduce expenses as well, so cut both.... working harder on cutting expenses than taxes, because we do also need to work toward a balanced budget, without writing a blank check to be paid for by our grandchildren.





Reduce the role of centralized national government to handle only those things that the States and local governments cannot handle on their own.
First, I will not be allowing any ridiculous spendings on such things as a $200,000.00 projector for my own campaign...





I will not hold a tax funded private Jonas brothers concert for my daughters...





I will not spend millions of dollars flying around the country to preach to my own choir...





I will not keep signing bills into laws to help rob hard working people of their taxes to fund bonuses for FAILED executives...





I will not make secret backdoor deals with companies like BOFA.





I will not pick and choose which companies to bail out and dictate which companies should be bought out...





I will not use our lands as collateral to the chinese government to help us fund the mutiple bailouts...





I will not appoint people who do not pay their own taxes as part of my cabinet...





I will not pretend to be a US Citizen born in Hawaii when I'm really born in Kenya and am not really eligible for presidency...





I will not associate myself and be best of friends with anti-american groups and people linked to terror groups...

I voted for Ralph Nader for a reason. He knew exactly what was going to happen, and has a well thought out plan to fix it, without throwing away tax dollars. So I'd follow his plan, and then push for the legalization of marijuana, and then define that ALL social issues (gay marriage, abortion, ect) be left up to the states. Then I'd have sex with a hot intern.
Cut taxes, freeze gov spending, both of which put more money in consumers pockets.. then stand by while that allows the economy to correct itself... I would NOT spend more money (especially by giving it to folks who have proven they are not using it wisely) that we do NOT HAVE... I would not try to impress my supporters, I would do what works, not what is popular.
Kick out all the h1 and l1 ';guest workers';! These work visa programs are HORRIBLE!





I don't think people realize how much damage ';guest workers'; do to the American economy. They come to our country, take our jobs, hoard the money they make, and funnel almost all of it back to their country (usually india).





Not only have these wrong-minded greedy corporate ';bought and paid for'; work visa US policies destroyed millions of American jobs, they also destroy careers for our young and brightest US Citizens in the future.
I'd raise taxes, increase spending, cut benefits to injured vets, make friends with our enemies, irritate our allies, reduce our domestic drilling for oil and hire a bunch of criminals to be on my cabinet.





Oh, wait. That's what I'd do to destroy my country.
I would hire Reagan's economic advisors, and listen to them, and more than likely take their advice.





Since Reagan inherited a horrible economy, and provided tax cuts, the economy got better.

For one, I wont pass all the earmarks. I would elimatinate the war in Iraq and use that money for national healthcare. I would legalize pot (even though I dont do it) and tax the hell out of it, elimatinating our debt.
