Why are so many of the questions in YA politics immature, inane, or childish rants?

instead of reasoned adult questions they too often seem to degrade any who respond. has real discourse in this nation degenerated to such a degree? Why are so many of the questions in YA politics immature, inane, or childish rants?
Well that's because many of the people are mimicking their idols on talk radio , fox news etc. Ever listen to Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh? they don't engage in conversation, they don't with people, but at people...

...and take a look at the content, its childish insults, labeling, endless tantrums...

Ann Coulter and the like...

I will give them this...they aren't stupid...they come up with clever insults and one liners. But that's it. If you want a mature conversation with the fruitful exchange of ideas, it's out here but it's becoming a ';needle in the heystack'; phenomena

Welcome to America's Political Culture 2008!Why are so many of the questions in YA politics immature, inane, or childish rants?

We have been invaded by a pack of trolls. some of them are even clones.
They are written by ignorant teenagers and immature adults.
Because most people on YA are immature, inane, or childish
Remember:

-You only have to be 13 to post here, so maturity can be lacking

-There's no IQ requirement to post in YA...how many people who are asking/answering these questions have an IQ hovering around 100, or less?

-Based on how few can spell or use spell check, we're not dealing with some mental giants here...

-Learning by rote does not encourage critical thinking, it's obvious that many people lack the ability to think logically and construct an argument, so they resort to childish name-calling since that's all they are capable of

-We don't know where people are posting from or what the state of their mental health is: some people posting are not ';all there';

-YA does not represent a good sample of Americans (well I hope not or society really is gone)
Everytime I asked one, I got violations and they were removed. Finally surrendered to the norm here.
Unfortunately, that is what debate has degenerated to in this country of hit and run tactics of proxy arguments..if you start to lose a debate based on your opponents logical argument you personally attack them by accussing them of being a facist, homophobe, racist, sexist, etc. to make your opponent drop their argument and go on the defensive.
Look genius if you want real reasoned political discourse tune into CSpan.
cause dare r alot of nasty llibs out dare who ya cant even disagree wit
People hide behind their computer screens and say stupid hateful things they would never say in person.
It's not just in YA politics, it's in any %26amp; all of the question categories.
it sucks. but thats the beauty of freedom of speech anyone should have the right to exercise it.
Because the majority of frequent posters in here are immature, insane and / or childish.
Yep. Ain't it great!
Sounds more like your describing any debate in which Hillary happens to be taking part!
Before answering I read through some of your answers and I certainly wish YA would have more people like you, who take their and the others time serious and work on a good rather then a superficial reply and question.

I have just recently joined and find the idea of YA interesting, but I'm like you not pleased to see these many useless questions and answers.
(Sigh)...I know what you mean.
I just checked, and you haven't answered a single one of my questions... and I almost ALWAYS ask about actual issues...

(sometimes I just go after libs, but generally I ask about real issues! LOL)
