I agree. I grow quite weary of a country full of know-it-all cry babies that are trying to be in the spotlight when we have people who have chosen to serve our country by fighting on foreign soil to prevent the war from being further pushed into our borders. I was given to understand that it was about intelligence(or the lack of it)concerning WMD which have never been found.
yea... i think its hilarious that the entire country seems to know the war is a ';conspiracy';....kind of takes away from the meaning of the word does it not? I mean, shouldn't someone not be in the know if it is an under-the-table war going on...there are so many idiots that gather all of their information from hollywood as opposed to newspapers, and they believe that if Chris Tucker is a CIA spy doing those crazy spy things than it must really be happening!

The intelligence or lack of on the WMD's was just a cover story to make it legal for the admin to go in there and finish off what his daddy could not do.

It was obviously started over oil. Both Bush and Cheney are oil men and the New American Century paper by the Neocons behind Bush says the US invades the Middle East and controls their oil (THEIR) so the US can control China and India. Seems pretty clear.

It's not about the oil right now. They went there so they could install an american puppet government so that when the oil starts to run out, they can make a lot of money.

Yes, I am sick of hearing that the war was started because of oil, something about how we wanted their oil, or wanted to control the oil so we can keep our prices lower, or so we won't run out, or so they could raise the price and we'd still have to pay it. I don't understand why people cannot understand that the oil market is not connected to this war!! I think a lot of this came from the Fahrenheit 911 film? I'm not sure, I just know I had friends who claimed that the war was about oil at the same time the film was big. No matter what my political beliefs are, liberal or conservative, I think it's ridiculous that someone would believe that this war is about oil. No matter how evil people may think our government is, they would not stoop to a level to risk so many lives just so this country can have more oil for a couple of years. I am no expert on the war, and I am not a hardcore republican or democrat, I am stuck in the grey in most political issues, but those who want to demean this war and claim that we are there for money/wealth reasons, well it just makes me sick. Sorry, I am off my soapbox now!
